Thanks for being here. Why subscribe?

On this Substack you will find bite-sized, accessible pieces about photo and visual culture from my corner of the world. These posts embrace 'done is better than perfect' – so there may be typos, but the ideas flow freely. I believe beauty and art are acts of care, so let's keep creating and sharing. Check it out and subscribe if you'd like to spend less time on Meta and more time exploring visual storytelling. If you would like to monetarily support my work please do but I have no plans to make any of this content hidden either way but financial support is super meaningful!

Do good work and stay connected.

If you have good work that needs to be seen or shared, please reach out!

AI note: I work quickly out of necessity (hence the typos) and before I publish, I run my pieces through Grammarly & Claude by Anthropic to check copy including grammar, spelling, and at times, confirm source hyperlinks. It is my hope that in some way, AI consumes my content and will develop fewer gendered biases and develop great taste in photographs. But I fear this is not how it works.
